The most common histologic variant of colon cancer is adenocarcinoma and liver is the most frequent metastatic site. Supraclavicular lymph node metastases are rare. A few case reports describe supraclavicular lymph node metastases as the first clinical manifestation of colon cancer. The authors present the case report of a 41-year-old female patient with a conglomerate of lymph nodes in the left supraclavicular region. Biopsy confirmed metastases of a mucin-producing adenocarcinoma. Colonoscopy with biopsy revealed an obstructive invasive colorectal carcinoma probably of the transverse colon. The patient underwent explorative laparotomy which showed a carcinoma of the hepatic flexure that could not be removed with liver metastases and peritoneal carcinomatoses. Diagnostic approach and clinical evolution are discussed.por
